water enters the System and particulate matter is
physically trapped
within the micro-porous material of the first
stage. During the second stage, the pre-cleansed
water undergoes a catalytic oxidation
process where chlorine taste and odor and other
organic substances are adsorbed deep inside the pore
structure of the carbon.
And there they stay, leaving the water you drink
cleaner and odor free!
Finally, water enters the one micron post filtration
stage (the human hair
shaft is 40 microns) where even finer particles are
retained. With more than
90 cu. inches of surface area, the Pure N Simple™
Water Filter has one of
the largest filter
capacities of any comparable filter!
