Filtration Technology
The UC-45E Advanced
Advanced Water Filtration System is tested to meet ANSI/NSF
Standard 42 for the
reduction of Chlorine taste and odor and particulate
reduction (Class 1).
The UC-45E System also has
been tested to ANSI/NSF
Standard 53 for the reduction of Volatile Organic
Compounds (VOCıs), Trihalomethanes
(THMıs), Lead, Turbidity and microorganisms
such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia. A replaceable,
outer pre-filtration
wrap extends the life of the cartridge in areas
where high sediment
is a problem. The UC-45E System effectively reduces
the most common
tap water contaminants found in municipally treated
water supplies.

features our exclusive electronic Filter Life
Indicator (FLI) that
takes the guess work out of knowing when to change
the cartridge.
The UC-45E Advanced Advanced Water Filtration System monitors
each drop of water that
passes through the powerful filtration process of
the cartridge! The blinking
green lamp indicates the cartridge is
operating within the rated capacity of the cartridge,
while the blinking yellow
lamp indicates the
cartridge is nearing the end of it rated capacity.
Finally, the blinking red
lamp means that a new cartridge must be installed.
Clean Water faucets are
available in your choice of five colors, and meet
stringent, California Proposition
"Lead-Free" requirements.
